History

In the little league's inaugural year, four major league teams were organized with a total of 60 players. The first games were played where the high school field currently exists with shortened base paths and snow fencing serving as the outfield wall. The league's home field has varied over time and  included locations in both Esperance and Delanson. In 1968,  the league  officially incorporated as a non-profit. With the acquisition of 26 acres along Route 20, a permanent location was established and continues to serve as Duanesburg's home field. The league continues to grow and improve its facilities. Approximately 150-200 children participate during the regular season which runs from April to June.
