GUIDE TO DIVISION SELECTION

T-Ball (Ages 5-6)
First and second year players where children hit the ball off of a tee and are taught the fundamentals of hitting, throwing, fielding and base running.

Farm (Ages 7-8)
For players transitioning from Tee Ball to the Minor division. Instruction is designed to expand on the skills and knowledge that players acquired in T-Ball.

Farm Softball (Ages 7-8)
Girls introduction to the game of softball. Instruction is designed to expand on the skills and knowledge that players acquired in T-Ball.

Minors Baseball & Softball (Ages 9-10)
This division is designed to prepare players for the Majors. Coaches teach the proper way to play the game with attention to form and rules. Players further build upon the skills taught in younger divisions and learn the mechanics of pitching. 

Majors Baseball and Softball (Ages 11-12)
At the Major division, skills are further refined. This is the most competitive division of the Duanesburg Little League.

*All ages determined by a players birthday prior to 8/31/2016.
